Designer Legacy is a trading style of Designer Legacy Ltd, based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

When you request the My Estate booklet we collect your name and email address. If you contact us or book a consultation, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your contact information and a short description of what you would like to discuss.

We also record anonymous, aggregated usage counts (for example, how many people opened the booklet page) so we can understand which pages are useful. These counts are not used to identify you.

• To send you the booklet you requested — this is necessary to provide what you asked for (consent / performance of a request).
• To send occasional estate planning guidance — on the basis of the consent you give when you request the booklet. You can withdraw it at any time.
• To respond to enquiries and arrange consultations — on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you.
• To keep proper records — where we have a legal obligation to do so.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it for third-party marketing, and we do not send unrelated promotional email.

We use trusted service providers to run this website, store our records securely, and deliver email. They process your information only on our instructions and under contract. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We keep booklet request details for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records relating to client work are kept for as long as needed to meet our professional and legal obligations.

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, simply reply to any email we send you and we will action your request.

Booklet downloads are served through short-lived, private links, and our records are held in access-controlled systems. While no online service can be completely risk-free, we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
